Description

• Hands-on experience in software development roles using RPGLE, CLLE, Java, Cobol, or other programming languages. • 3+ years of experience working on large-scale, client-facing, enterprise production software. • 5+ years of experience using RPGLE, Free Format RPGLE, SQL, Embedded SQL, COBOL, JCL, CL, DDS, DDL, BMS, CICS, JES, HTML, CSS. • Familiarity with C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic, SQL+, and Oracle PLSQL. • 5+ years of RPG Development, including: Databases: DB2/400, Change Management: Implementer, Aldon. • Version Control: Git. • Extensive experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and industry standards. • Recent experience leading or working on products from architectural design to production while setting and maintaining high standards of technical excellence and processes. • Experience working in an Agile environment where production code is delivered bi-monthly. • Working knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD and DevOps. • Strong English communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and business team members. • Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements. • Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications. • Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements. • Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

Requirements

• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards. • Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations. • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines. • A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience. • Experience with core banking systems. • Experience working within a bank.
