Description

• Developing fintech products that will change payment, banking, and investment systems • Working with high availability leveraged applications and external APIs • Managing incidents utilizing ITIL standards • Building automations to simplify operations and processes • Applying engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to the environment and codebase • Participating in on-call rotation covering extra hours when scheduled

Requirements

• Sound experience working with API gateways and REST • Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles • Knowledge of Linux administration and navigation along with data centre experience • Experience with SQL and ideally some Java, Python, Shell Scripting and Bash Scripting knowledge • To be capable of working independently while also coordinating with product and client teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources • Excellent problem-solving, team and time management skills • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines
