Description

• As a Production/Site Reliability Engineer you’ll help develop new fintech products • This could involve working with bleeding edge technology while coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications • You will be working with a global team based primarily in the US and India, but also the UK and AUS • You will be responsible for several high availability leveraged applications used by both internal applications as well as external facing APIs • Focusing on scalability, high availability, performance, stability and reliability of software applications • Managing and triaging incidents utilizing ITIL Incident Management standards and processes • You will build automations to simplify operations and processes, collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure positive end user experiences • You will apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline and mature automation to our operating environment and codebase • Participating in an oncall rotation, covering extra hours in the evening and weekends when scheduled

Requirements

• Sound experience working with API gateways and REST • Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles • Knowledge of Linux administration and navigation along with data centre experience • Experience with SQL and ideally some Java, Python, Shell Scripting and Bash Scripting knowledge • To be capable of working independently while also coordinating with product and client teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources • Excellent problem-solving, team and time management skills • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines
