Description

• Drive SRE efforts to provide a highly reliable and performant service to our customers • Partner with engineering managers to address any performance issues or bottlenecks • Continuously plan, optimize, and scale our infrastructure to support the growth of our platform • Maintain an excellent developer experience for our engineers that aids in improving developer productivity and happiness • Advance, scale and support our API to help meet the needs of external users/developers • Drive mobile platform engineering work by partnering with the mobile team • Holistically mentor and guide direct reports in professional development and career growth • Foster a positive and productive work environment that boosts the morale of your team • Review your teams' code as necessary to ensure quality, maintain consistency, and share knowledge • Advocate for and mentor the team on engineering best practices • Communicate timely updates and progress on initiatives to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading platform engineering teams as a Manager or as a Director • Proven expertise in leading SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering teams • Prior experience building applications using Ruby-on-Rails or similar frameworks • Solid expertise in the latest development, build, test, and deploy practices that drive agility, consistent delivery, and quality • Strong passion and track record of attracting, developing, and retaining engineers • Experience utilizing APM tools to monitor and troubleshoot issues • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Be sure to mention "coffee" in your application so we know you read this
