• About FlexCompute • FlexCompute is a MIT spin-off developing technology for massive-scale equations • Opportunity to shape cutting-edge products through simulation software • Role requires designing and implementing algorithms for high performance computing • Integral part of product development, release, maintenance, and support phases

Requirements

• Proven experience in and contributions to large codebases • C++ for scientific computing and Python (or similar) for scripting • Masters or PhD in computer engineering related discipline with at least two years of industry experience • Experience with some or all of MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA programming • Industry experience with implementation and testing of new features in commercial software • Experience in profiling and optimizing performance of parallelized computations • Expertise in some area of numerical methods for physical simulations • Experience with software packaging • Ability to work collaboratively in a medium-sized distributed development team
