📋 Description

• We are an impact-driven, remote-first, ClimateTech (CDR) startup headquartered in Germany and Brazil to reverse climate change and make tropical agriculture more regenerative, low-carbon, and sustainable. • As our Head of Finance/CFO, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and driving our financial strategy. • You will continue building a scalable finance function that enables sustainable growth while positioning us for success in debt financing and fundraising. • Serve as a trusted first-line advisor to the CEO and collaborate closely with shareholders and board members. • Work closely with our Finance team to build scalable financial structures and processes, balancing strategic oversight with operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–8+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in asset management, investment banking or scaling high-growth startups. • Proven track record in fundraising, especially in securing debt financing, e.g. venture debt, private debt. • Well established network of relationships within the international financial ecosystem • Scaling Finance Operations from 1 to 2. • International exposure, with excellent English communication skills and experience navigating global financial ecosystems. • Experience or personal interest in sustainability or climate. • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture and make sound strategic decisions. • A natural negotiator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of external trust. • Outcome-focused personality, a strategic-doer. • A scalable balance between risk appetite and control. • A seasoned people leader with high self-awareness.
