Description

• Manage 2 insights analysts and liaise with counterparts in the UK • Provide in-depth analysis to help improve profit performance • Represent the wider Data Team to the GM and support with data-related queries • Collaborate closely with insights analysts in the Insights team from India and the UK • Act as the primary data contact for your business area and communicate progress regularly • Support direct reports alongside senior members of the Insights team • Contribute to reporting and ad-hoc data requests from the General Manager • Investigate performance, trends, forecasts and report back with recommendations • Collaborate with product and development teams to understand their requirements • Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks based on value

Requirements

• At least eight (8) years of data analytics experience • At least four (4) years as a supervisor or mentor to junior staff • At least two (2) years of experience with BI visualisation tools, such as: Tableau Looker and/or Looker Data Studio • At least two (2) years of experience using and querying raw data from a web analytics platform. Google Analytics is preferred • Strong SQL skills, including unnesting, window functions, and regular expressions (regex) • Experience with BigQuery is a plus • A deep understanding of large, relational databases and how to leverage a wide-variety of data structures to drive insights • Ability to translate findings into recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels of seniority in a clear and concise manner • Ability to communicate data to non-technical audiences through the use of reports and visualisations • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Able to prioritise across different projects to focus on the highest-impact work and communicate those priorities to junior team members and/or stakeholders • High level of attention to detail, along with the ability to “zoom out” to consider the larger goals • Comfortable working remotely and collaboratively with teammates across multiple geographies and time zones
