• Ford Model E Platform Architecture Engineering seeks a Senior Staff embedded software engineer • Development of automotive software solutions and embedded software modules for electric vehicles • Lead software component development for electric vehicles and design integrated solutions
Requirements
• B.S. in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science • 10+ years proven working experience in software engineering • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting of embedded systems • Programming experience in C, C++ and Python • Strong documentation, writing, and communications skills • Must be willing to learn and dive into unknown areas • Preferred: M.S. in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science • Preferred: Board bring up experience • Preferred: Programming experience in Rust • Preferred: Experience negotiating with vendors • Preferred: Experience with open-source technologies
