Description

• We are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. • As a key member of our Enterprise Technology Group, you’ll play a critical part in crafting the future of mobility. • We seek a highly motivated, technology-focused individual passionate about improving and simplifying Ford’s highly complex global infrastructure environment across Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • As a GCP Cloud Engineer, you will provide day-to-day responsibility for key cloud-native infrastructure, computing, database, network, storage, and interoperability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience • 7 years of experience in IT or Technology-related disciplines with progressively increasing responsibility. • 5+ Experience working with cloud-native (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments such as researching the best use of cloud products and the ecosystem, designing, developing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. • 3+ hands-on experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages. • 2+ years’ experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
