📋 Description

• The Regulatory Attorney will help ensure compliance with federal and state air quality and fuel economy requirements concerning vehicles, engines, and other mobile sources. • They will also ensure compliance with internal Ford guidelines, and the continuous improvement of those guidelines. • The role involves fact finding, writing, and legal judgment on technical subject matter. • Regular internal company meetings will be attended to support informed decision-making and prompt compliance efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from an ABA-approved Law School • Bachelor degree • At least 8 years of legal experience with a focus on regulatory compliance • License to practice law in a U.S. state or District of Columbia • Excellent writing skills, with a clear and direct style • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, constructive, and team-oriented approach • Ability to translate complex subject matter into plain-spoken and legally accurate communications. • High level of analytical, project management, and organizational skills • Knowledge of applicable laws including Title II of the Clean Air Act and California Health and Safety Code • Time and task management skills, including ability to multi-task • Proficient in MS Office products, in Adobe Acrobat, and in learning new information technology applications
