Description

• Support formative, process, and summative evaluations for health communication. • Draft recruitment and data collection materials. • Create Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) packages. • Support sampling and assist with data collection and entry. • Conduct data analysis and help draft reports and presentations. • Perform literature reviews and coordinate purchasing and subcontracting requisitions.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in health communication, public health, communication, social science, or related field. • At least 2 years of experience in social science research. • Proficiency in English; proficiency in Spanish preferred. • Goal to pursue a career in health communication research. • Strong self-starting and self-motivating skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experience working as part of a team as well as independently. • High level of comfort with learning new skills. • High level of organization and attention to detail. • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under strict deadlines. • Understanding of health behavior theory. • Experience with plain language, culturally competent research.
