Description

• Fors Marsh is seeking a researcher with a background in quantitative social science. • Provide expertise in development, execution, and analysis of large-scale surveys for the Department of Defense. • Conduct analyses of survey data, support questionnaire development, and perform dataset cleaning. • Prepare internal and external communications summarizing research methods and findings. • Work closely with clients to understand needs and manage expectations. • Uphold highest standards of quality control and manage multiple concurrent tasks. • Work under tight deadlines and anticipate potential barriers to project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in psychology, marketing, economics, social science, statistics or related field required. • Bachelor’s degree + a minimum of three years of applied, professional research experience, preferably in the area of market or communication research, decision-making, or social psychology; or, Master’s degree + a minimum of one year of post-graduate research experience; or, PhD + no professional research experience required. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as a team member. • Excellent analytic and dataset manipulation skills in at least one statistical software package (e.g., Stata, SPSS, SAS, R) required. • Experience conducting qualitative research. • Experience creating visual and written summaries of research results that can be understood by non-technical audiences. • Strong quantitative ability and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
