Description

• Support a portfolio of social science research projects for military health and wellbeing. • Lead development, implementation, and analysis of research projects. • Manage projects by coordinating with internal resources and ensuring quality control. • Work with a mixed team to operationalize personnel-related metrics and analyze large data sets. • Mentor team members to enhance their skills. • Interface with clients to understand needs and communicate results. • Oversee production of literature reviews and synthesize information. • Lead/support all phases of social science analytics process, including design, analysis, and interpretation of surveys and integrated datasets. • Provide quality assurance by ensuring the quality of work meets required standards.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in social science (e.g., sociology, political science, psychology) or related field. • PhD with 2-4 years industry experience, Master’s degree with 4+ years of applicable industry experience. • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to describe technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member. • Experience working with diverse data sources, including survey, personnel, and administrative data. • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research. • Knowledge and experience of quantitative methodologies such as regression, factor analysis, survival analysis. • Experience working in R/R Studio. • Experience with Python preferred. • Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to federal contract requirements. • Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
