Description

• Edit client deliverables and internal documents for completeness, accuracy, style, and inclusivity. • Provide comprehensive editing for various deliverables, including research papers, technical reports, surveys, and marketing materials. • Review content and form for completeness, accuracy, and organization. • Edit documents to match client-specific style guides and ensure adherence to editorial standards. • Process editorial review requests from research/technical staff. • Maintain excellence in language, style, and clarity. • Recommend formatting improvements in collaboration with research/technical staff. • Ensure timely completion of assignments according to established standards. • Work collaboratively with the Technical Editing team.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in writing or editing, especially technical materials. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in areas such as journalism, English, business, public policy, or related disciplines. • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams. • Strong written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks successfully under tight deadlines. • Knowledge of MS Word and other MS applications; capable of creating, editing, and manipulating PDF documents. • Experience working in federal contracting environment a plus. • Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to federal contract requirements.
