Description

• A Cybersecurity Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to enhance an organization's cybersecurity posture. • Work closely with the internal security team to develop automation within security tooling and manual processes. • Design and develop automation scripts and tools for security operations. • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency. • Create automated incident response workflows to quickly mitigate security threats. • Integrate automation tools with existing incident response platforms. • Develop and implement automated solutions for threat detection. • Integrate automated systems with threat intelligence platforms to identify and respond to emerging threats. • Implement automated monitoring solutions to continuously assess the security posture. • Utilize automation to correlate and analyze security data from multiple sources. • Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate automation solutions into existing systems. • Document automation processes, workflows, and security incidents. • Generate reports on the effectiveness and outcomes of automated security measures.

Requirements

• 6+ years working in a DevOps environment using CICD pipelines • Background in deploying IaC and ephemeral cloud services • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell/Bash • Experience deploying automation using cloud services such as Lambda and Azure serverless • Experience scripting using REST APIs integrating with security tools • Strong understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and threat landscape. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
