Description

• Oversee the design, development, and optimisation of Luupli's frontend systems. • Lead a team of talented engineers, collaborating closely with product managers and designers. • Drive architectural decisions and establish coding standards, best practices, and processes. • Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit tests and end-to-end tests. • Monitor app performance metrics and address bottlenecks proactively. • Coordinate with UI/UX designers, product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and updates. • Recruit and retain top talent for the frontend development team and conduct regular performance reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development, including 3+ years in a leadership role. • Proven expertise in React Native and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, etc.). • Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript . • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code versioning tools (e.g., Git), and app store deployments. • Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques and tools for mobile applications. • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of video streaming technologies, caching strategies, and HLS optimisation. • Background in building and maintaining scalable architectures for high-traffic applications. • Familiarity with analytics and telemetry tools like Mixpanel or Firebase. • Experience working in agile development environments.
