📋 Description

• Forward Networks is revolutionizing the way large networks are managed. • The Forward Enterprise platform delivers a vendor-agnostic "digital twin" of the network, based on a mathematical model. • The platform scales to support hundreds of thousands of network devices, whether cloud, hybrid cloud, or on-prem. • It serves as a single source of truth for the network, enabling network operators to instantly verify security posture, accelerate troubleshooting, avoid outages, and modernize network management. • Forward Networks is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant. • Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as well as detailed income statement analysis. • Manage and take responsibility for transactional accounting processes, such as Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash, including day-to-day transactions (i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit cards, employee reimbursements, fixed assets, etc.). • Have a hand in developing accounting policies and procedures. • Support various audit and/or tax requests, as directed. • Help safeguard company assets by adhering to its policies and internal control environment. • Curious about identifying process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies. • Maintain confidentiality regarding vendor, customer, and employee data. • Ad-hoc projects to support the development of the Company as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with GAAP knowledge and general accounting concepts. • Be comfortable working in a fast-growth startup and being a self-starter, prior experience with remote work preferred. • Be very detailed-oriented, ensuring that routine transactions are processed timely and accurately. • Strong time and task management skills. • The ability to critically think and make corresponding conclusions, including the ability to detect patterns and interpret incomplete data. • Possess strong analytical skills. • Comfortable with booking Journal Entries and navigating the financial statements. • The ability to work in a diverse work environment and be nimble with shifting priorities. • Exceptional attention to detail, including self-review, and detailed project management skills. • Be proficient with Microsoft (Word/Excel) and Google Suite products.
