📋 Description

• The Fundraising Manager role plays a significant part in helping to build a high-performing fundraising function. • You will work closely with senior stakeholders within FOSIS and be required to play a key role in the continued development of the organisation. • Process, prepares and record invoices and supplier bills, including collecting affiliation fees and maintain records with invoice and payment details. • Track, record and maintain expenditure records with details. • Assist in maintaining all financial transactions and records. • Prepare and make expenses payments after approval from the directors. • Assist with preparing monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors and the NEC. • Assist and support internal and external audit and preparation of the annual report for submission to the Companies House. • Identify grants and funding opportunities for the organisation. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and submitting bids and applications for funding. • Organise community fundraising initiatives and projects throughout the year. • Work with the Board of Directors on long term sustainability projects such as Waqifs. • Establishing and maintaining relationships with potential donors and funding bodies.

• Knowledge and interest in developing the Muslim student scene and the advancement of the British Muslim community. • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc. • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development. • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and Google Suite. • Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities. • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
