📋 Description

• Exceed assigned revenue goals by creating and executing a plan based on SmartSimple’s customer-centric sales methodology. • Manage a complex, multi-platform solution sale with a 6-to-18-months purchasing cycle. • Maintain an accurate pipeline with timely sales forecasts and internal communication. • Cultivate prospects in a targeted, measurable way, adding to the pipeline consistently. • Maintain relationships with current clients and influencers for referrals and references. • Focus on new business while cross-selling into existing accounts. • Coordinate marketing resources and internal departments to meet prospects’ research needs. • Understand customer trends and key influencers in the assigned market. • Provide feedback to marketing for sales tools and campaigns. • Work closely with customer services for a seamless experience. • Participate in educational programs, webinars, conferences, and client events.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years of full-time B2B sales experience (software sales experience a plus). • Proven track record of consistent over-quota achievement within a solutions software vendor. • Exceptional customer service and the ability to understand customer needs. • Bachelor’s degree required. • Alternative to sales experience: Strong knowledge of or experience in the philanthropic sector with desire to learn sales; experience in finance, account management, CRM, or donor management. • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; • Strong listening and presentation skills. • Travel required within North America. • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
