• Visiting and managing existing key accounts throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. • Developing new customer targets in the territory to achieve annual growth goals. • Traveling throughout the region, with about 5-10 days of overnight travel per month. • Working with Market Managers to develop strategies towards key industries including cement manufacturing, mining, wood production, and food processing.
• At least 3 years of experience in a customer facing role – direct technical sales or application engineering. • A knack for solving technical problems and providing solutions. • Experience in lubricants, chemicals, mechanical equipment sales, or key account development is a plus! • Industry knowledge with mining, wood, paper, and cement is a plus. • Strong time management skills. • A self-starter who excels at planning efficient sales travel. • Good at customer follow up items from home based office. • Understanding of technical concepts and effective negotiation skills. • Open-minded towards unique solutions and developing new relationships.
