• Serve as a thought leader and mid-senior expert in database engineering. • Build and manage data infrastructure and transformation backend. • Integrate technologies such as Snowflake and Redshift. • Develop front-end data visualizations with tools like DB Quicksight. • Partner with leadership to develop strategies and execute database administration priorities. • Design and maintain ETL pipelines. • Deliver data visualizations for reporting and customer needs. • Lead incident management and conduct root cause analysis. • Enhance system security and integrity. • Plan and execute system upgrades. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Implement proactive system monitoring and alerting. • Mentor and guide other Database Engineers. • Support comprehensive data management in a medallion architecture framework.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 5-10 years of data-related experience, with proficiency in AWS, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Python or Java. • Expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting systems with clustering, replication, partitioning, encryption, and high availability/disaster recovery. • Strong background in data management, architecture, and large-scale system implementations. • Hands-on experience in deploying secure, high-performance database systems. • Advanced skills in database performance tuning and RDBMS. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss technical details with various stakeholders.
