📋 Description

Fullscript makes it easier for practitioners to treat the whole person, not just symptoms, so patients get the support they need—when they need it. • We are looking for a Senior Search Engineer to help build and scale Fullscript’s search experience. • The Search Team is responsible for everything search-related on the Fullscript platform, enabling healthcare practitioners and patients to seamlessly find the right products to support their wellness journeys. • As a Senior Engineer, you will contribute to search architecture, optimize indexing strategies, and improve the search experience through relevance tuning and performance enhancements. • This role requires hands-on experience with search technologies, ranking algorithms, and scalable indexing. You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to improve search capabilities and drive innovation in search-related features.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in software engineering, with a focus on search technologies. • Strong experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar search engines. • Understanding of information retrieval, ranking algorithms, and query parsing. • Experience working with high-scale search applications. • Proficiency in Ruby, Python, Java, or another backend programming language. • Familiarity with GraphQL, TypeScript, and React is a plus. • Experience with vector search, learning-to-rank techniques, and AI-powered search is a bonus. • Passion for search engineering, scalability, and performance optimization.
