Description

• Responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts. • Advising management on the company’s rights under existing contracts. • Structuring complex transactions. • Identifying the need for, engaging, and incorporating advice of subject matter experts. • Managing the Company’s legal and regulatory compliance program. • Analyzing compliance and legal issues. • Serving as the legal liaison with multiple business units. • Providing assistance and analysis on compliance and legal questions. • Contributing to compliance function development and implementation.

Requirements

• J.D. degree required. • At least 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney. • Extensive negotiation and drafting skills. • Electronic research skills. • Ability to effectively deal with lawyers and clients at all levels. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal skills. • Computer experience. • Strong interpersonal skills required. • Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively. • Willingness to learn the substantive law as it relates to compliance. • Ability to analyze many variables and choose the most effective course of action. • Must handle multiple tasks and diverse work issues. • Must be able to handle stressful situations and interact with various personalities.
