Description

• Providing legal advice and guidance to the enterprise and its business units on a wide range of employment law and human resources matters • Performing legal research and analysis on employment law issues • Handling employment-related complaints and litigation • Provide practical, solution-oriented legal and strategic counsel to executives and colleagues on strategy, risk assessment, negotiations, and execution • Identify, evaluate, and address complex and strategic legal issues

Requirements

• Requires a law degree, such as a Juris Doctor or other comparable degree • Must be admitted to practice law in the appropriate jurisdiction • Six (6) or more years of legal experience with a primary focus in labor and employment law in a corporate in-house or law firm environment • Excellent knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, such as Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and EEO • Strong communication, research, writing, and analytical skills • Ability to review and evaluate multi-faceted issues and counsel business colleagues on complex legal questions • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality • Experience advising clients in a complex, diversified, global organization • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects efficiently and effectively
