Description

• Support the work of the Product Department in product development and support. • Conduct market research, gather quantitative product data, and analyze customer research. • Identify improvements for current and visionary product ideas for the future renter experience. • Report directly to the Group Product Manager. • Understand and map customer needs into attainable product deliverables and requirements. • Uncover data insights to form hypotheses, design product experiments, evaluate results, and make recommendations. • Perform strategic and ad-hoc analysis and communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders. • Develop new analytical reporting and maintain current reports using complex data models. • Participate in product feature roadmap development and prioritize feature requests based on market and customer requirements. • Track progress of product development from creation to retirement. • Foster collaboration within the team and across the company.

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in product management or related field • Strong technical background, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience • SQL familiarity and expertise with Periscope, Looker or a similar BI tool preferred, not required • Ability to effectively communicate with dispersed teams • Strong project management experience, preference within software development and agile processes • Previous experience with externally customer-facing roles strongly desired • Passion and excitement for helping consumers and understanding their needs • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates • A talent for the articulation of customer problems • Whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful • Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process • Experience owning a project from conception to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
