Description

• Seeking a passionate and experienced DevOps/Cloud Security Engineer to help our DHS client plan, build and manage security for their cloud network and infrastructure. • Responsible for designing secure architectures, protecting data and assets, monitoring security risks, ensuring compliance, educating others, responding to breaches, and developing new designs for cloud-based applications. • Work alongside Software Developers to spin up a cloud environment and automate code using CI/CD principles.

Requirements

• 4 years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Security Engineering • Advance knowledge in cloud design patterns • Proficiency in implementing and managing identity solutions like AWS IAM and Azure Active Directory, including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control • Knowledge of virtual network configuration, security groups, firewalls, and VPN connections in both cloud platforms to ensure secure communication • Familiarity with cloud compliance frameworks, security best practices, and tools for monitoring, logging, and auditing cloud resources across AWS and Azure environments • Advanced in one or more of these languages (sql, python, go, java, typescript) • Proficient with Gitlab, Github • Proficient in IaaC (AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi)
