β€’ As the Power BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of data analytics to develop comprehensive reports and visualizations, enhancing decision-making processes at Galileo Learning. β€’ Data Analysis & Visualization: Develop Interactive Dashboards: Design and implement interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI to meet organizational needs. β€’ Data Models & Insights: Identify and understand business requirements within the context of Business Intelligence (BI), developing data models to turn raw data into actionable insights. β€’ KPI Monitoring: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and achieve specific objectives. β€’ Technical Execution Power BI Development: Develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, conducting in-depth analyses to ensure efficiency. β€’ Advanced Data Manipulation: Utilize DAX queries and functions within Power BI for advanced data manipulation. β€’ Data Integration: Construct and maintain a data warehouse to consolidate various data sources. Employ SQL queries to extract and analyze data effectively. β€’ Collaboration & Communication: Perform data analysis and present findings in clear, concise reports to support strategic decisions. β€’ Requirement Translation: Translate business requirements into technical specifications, outlining timelines for project milestones. β€’ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders, including the CFO, to define and align on data needs and project goals.

Requirements

β€’ 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with an emphasis on financial analysis. β€’ A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or Finance is a plus but not required β€’ Having worked in summer camps, education or similar organizations is a plus! β€’ Proven experience with BI tools and systems, particularly Power BI. β€’ Strong background in data analysis and financial reporting. β€’ Familiarity with the Microsoft BI Stack and proficiency in MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies such as SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, and DAX. β€’ Understanding of key financial concepts and the ability to apply them in data analysis. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders and resolve system-related challenges with empathy and true partnership.
