• Individual contributor position based remotely in Canada. • Gartner analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research and provide advice to world-leading organizations. • The Senior Director Analyst provides research and advisory to senior Infrastructure and IT Operations leaders globally. • Formulate and articulate technology and business adoption scenarios that help senior leaders to modernize. • Collaborate in cross-team settings with infrastructure colleagues as well as software engineering, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and CIO strategy analysts. • Demonstrate superior analytical skills, applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns while drawing and defending conclusions.
Requirements
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience • Recent experience as the senior most Infrastructure and/or IT Operations leader in a mid or large sized organization is required. • Significant experience with people leadership topics such as designing future-fit organization structures, skills and talent management and driving culture change via transformational initiatives is required. • Practical experience leading investments in cloud computing, delivering platforms and services to enable digital transformation while connecting Infrastructure and IT Operations work to business outcomes and overcoming technical debt. • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred. • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges. • Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team. • Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability. • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
