β€’ Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Research Analyst Senior supporting Medicare and Medicaid research projects. β€’ GDIT is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career. β€’ As a Research Analyst Senior you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. β€’ Performs research, analysis, development, and evaluation of systems, procedures, and data in assigned functional area. β€’ Supports data analysis, technical assistance, and assistance with Medicare/Medicaid data study protocols. β€’ Applies knowledge of standard software and quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques and methods. β€’ Work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a project team. β€’ Contribute knowledge and understanding of Medicare/Medicaid data using varied data sets, analyzing health service use or spending, quality of care, and health outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Education: Bachelor of Science in health policy, public health, healthcare management, epidemiology, or related program. Master's degree preferred. β€’ Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience in Medicare and/or Medicaid data analysis and health services research using varied Medicare/Medicaid data sets, analyzing health service use or spending, quality of care, and/or health outcomes. β€’ Required Technical Skills: Programming and analysis experience in at least one data analytics software package (e.g., SAS, Python, Java or R). β€’ Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams and Adobe Acrobat. β€’ Security Clearance Level: Public trust (can be obtained upon hire) β€’ Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with Medicare/Medicare research protocols and data products
