• The Aero Repairs and Exchanges Project Manager is responsible for Aero shop repairs, module exchanges, and exchange/spare engines. • The primary responsibilities are on time project delivery and profitability. • This role directly interacts with Regional Sales and the Aero Alliance. • Process ownership is from handoff from the Aero Regional team to the delivery and billing of the customer engine or exchange/spare. • This role will concurrently manage several repairs and exchanges and manage key strategic customers and lead critical process change across the Aero business. • Lastly, this role will interact with the Aero Business Line leadership including Finance, Sales, Productivity, and Quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree. • Minimum of 5 years experience with Aeroderivative repairs and exchanges or equivalent. • Ability and willingness to travel (~10%). • Demonstrated project management skills and passion for Project Management. • Skilled at leading and influencing cross functional team members in a matrix organization. • Skilled Communicator; professional and tactful in oral and written communications with multiple GE functions/levels and with the Customer; applies good judgment on frequency and detail of communication. • Excellent planning and organizational skills. • Ability to set realistic objectives, accurately appraise situations, detect risks and issues, and collaborate with GE internal teams and customer to find win-win solutions. • Embraces and demonstrates sensitivity to culture of customer and internal team members. • Experience interpreting or applying Contract terms & conditions and binding agreements. • Understanding of GE financial processes, revenue recognition, costs, margin, and quarterly forecasting. • Direct customer-facing experience.
