β€’ The Aero Repairs and Exchanges Project Manager is responsible for Aero shop repairs, module exchanges, and exchange/spare engines. β€’ The primary responsibilities are on time project delivery and profitability. β€’ This role directly interacts with Regional Sales and the Aero Alliance. β€’ Process ownership is from handoff from the Aero Regional team to the delivery and billing of the customer engine or exchange/spare. β€’ This role will concurrently manage several repairs and exchanges and manage key strategic customers and lead critical process change across the Aero business. β€’ Lastly, this role will interact with the Aero Business Line leadership including Finance, Sales, Productivity, and Quality.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree. β€’ Minimum of 5 years experience with Aeroderivative repairs and exchanges or equivalent. β€’ Ability and willingness to travel (~10%). β€’ Demonstrated project management skills and passion for Project Management. β€’ Skilled at leading and influencing cross functional team members in a matrix organization. β€’ Skilled Communicator; professional and tactful in oral and written communications with multiple GE functions/levels and with the Customer; applies good judgment on frequency and detail of communication. β€’ Excellent planning and organizational skills. β€’ Ability to set realistic objectives, accurately appraise situations, detect risks and issues, and collaborate with GE internal teams and customer to find win-win solutions. β€’ Embraces and demonstrates sensitivity to culture of customer and internal team members. β€’ Experience interpreting or applying Contract terms & conditions and binding agreements. β€’ Understanding of GE financial processes, revenue recognition, costs, margin, and quarterly forecasting. β€’ Direct customer-facing experience.
