Description

• Analyze data and draft implementation plans for production process optimization • Maximize efficiencies by eliminating waste • Design and develop technical projects for the pork and packaged meat industry • Lead a team of junior engineers • Develop project cost estimates • Perform design work including feasibility and economic studies • Manage project installation schedules • Conduct engineering planning and operational reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field • 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a position of leadership • Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques related to food processing and the meat industry preferred • Project Management skills • Contract Administration skills • National codes and standards interpretation skills • Previous experience managing multi-million dollar projects desirable • Proficient in engineering economics • Proficient in AutoCAD • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word processing software
