Description

• Burgos Group, LLC is looking for a Project Manager (PM) to work on a Federal construction project. • The incumbent will have the direct responsibility for operations on job sites, overseeing project accomplishments, administering all instructions, and answering all questions from the client or Contracting Officer pertaining to the project during the life of the contract. • The Project Manager must be familiar and conversant with the various codes and standards applicable to the scope of work on Federal Projects. • This is a remote position – with travel required to locations as needed. • Must be able to wear multiple hats. Estimating experience a plus!

Requirements

• Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Access) and scheduling software (MS Project). • Experience with Federal contracting is required. • Must be well versed in broad based Architectural, Engineering and construction principles. • Must be able to pass a background check. • Must have B.S. degree in engineering, architecture or construction management or equivalent. • Minimum 3-5 years of construction supervisory experience with at least 3 years in a project manager. • Demonstrated experience estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work. • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken word. • Working knowledge of architectural, mechanical and Heavy Civil Work. • Have a high level of proficiency with spreadsheets, email and other software used in the construction industry. • Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30, 1st Aid and CPR. • Current CQC certification issued by USACE a plus. • General Contractor’s License a plus.
