• The Internal Project Manager (IPM) for Equipment Projects is a leader on the Project Team. • Responsible for managing delivery and cost of the Project through proactive risk & opportunity management. • Supports the Project by working closely with a core team of cost and schedule experts to achieve critical Project targets. • Conducts IPM meetings to review costs and schedule risks and opportunities, • Creates disciplined change management process to track deviations and variances against budget and scope. • Develops and executes a plan to track Project Payment Milestone events and collect documentation to support invoicing process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. • Minimum 3 years of cross-functional business experience with operational and/or project management experience OR completion of a GE Rotational Program. • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future. • Ability to lead and succeed in a cross-functional matrix environment. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. • Effective organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Demonstrated ability to analyze, resolve problems, and deliver results. • Passion for details and ‘can do’ approach. • Thorough competency in Microsoft Office Tools. • Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt / Master Black Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification. • PMP / PMU certification.
