• The Technical Leader for Gas Fuel Systems provides technical guidance and oversight for the Compressible Fluids team within PSSC Mechanical COE. • Develops and establishes processes and provides technical mentorship to ensure strong design rigor by the Gas Fuel Systems engineers. • Serves as the team’s tactical focal point, ensuring execution excellence with analysis, design studies, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and customer technical issue resolution. • Enables growth in technical breadth, strengthening project management skills, and opportunity to build a network of relationships throughout the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering field. • 8 years of experience in power plant system/equipment engineering. • Self-motivated and able to develop, document, and execute engineering assignments with limited supervision. • Engineering design and validation experience in power plant equipment, such as gas turbine accessories or similar fluid systems. • Experience working with flow modeling software. • Experience working with mechanical modeling and stress analysis software. • Experience working with a global engineering team. • Ability to rapidly change directions for multiple concurrent projects based on emergent business priorities. • Ability to mentor less experienced engineers both locally and across a global team environment. • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. • Effective communication skills, oral and written.
