Description

• Responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software within the Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) team. • Taking a lead role in architecting, designing, and developing embedded software for IVHM products, • ensuring adherence to GE's stringent processes and the DO-178C standard. • Overseeing continuous software integration and testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability. • Identifying software failures and implementing effective solutions. • Acting as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university. • At least 4 years of experience in embedded software development, • with a minimum of 1 years working specifically with DO-178C software development processes and certification standards. • At least 1 year of experience in C coding is required. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, • excellent oral and written communication abilities. • Proficiency in project management, encompassing cost, schedule, earned value, scope, and risk management. • Experience with DO-178C DAL B is highly desirable.
