Description

• GEICO is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our Unified Communications Service Engineering (UCSE) group and lead the development of cutting-edge AI product development. • You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization by designing, developing, and deploying core consumer experiences that leverage AI. • Our Sr. Software Engineer is a lead member of the engineering team working across the organization to build delightful and friction-less product experience for our customers and drive transformative change in the industry by harnessing the power of Generative AI.

Requirements

• 5 + years of professional software development experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python or C# including object-oriented design. • 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks • 3+ years of experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems • 3+ years of experience in building AI/ML products, conversational interfaces particularly with LLMs or similar AI models. • In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)
