• Build and maintain enterprise legal solutions that operate efficiently and compliantly. • Play a pivotal role in design and development of legal solutions. • Shape architecture and drive innovation to meet evolving business needs. • Timely delivery of impactful projects that enhance GEICO’s legal service delivery. • Contribute to strategy and architecture of the technology stack supporting the Legal Department. • Work closely with the Legal Department to manage, innovate, and create new programs. • Present vision and strategic recommendations to stakeholders. • Provide mentorship and coaching to foster continuous learning and DevOps mindset. • Champion implementation of engineering quality including unit testing, automation testing, security testing. • Foster effective collaboration and communication across teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards • Leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and fostering professional growth • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving operational efficiency and automation • Fluency with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, Go and experience with open-source software is a big plus • Fluency with at least two Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, RESTful Web Services, and Event Driven Architectures • Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS or similar public cloud environment • Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments • Experience in a technology supporting legal, risk & compliance, regulatory or similar teams is a huge plus! • Experience 4 + years of software architecture and development/coding experience. • 3 + years of experience with systems architecture and design • 3 + years of development in a large-scale, mission-critical environment • 2+ years of experience with automated testing including Unit, Integration, and End-to-End functional testing
