📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Technical Data Analyst with a focus on Process Improvement, and Quality Control for a Federal client in the Washington DC area. • Join our team and utilize both legacy and modern, open-source technologies to develop, deliver and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. • Our clients are some of the world’s leading companies and the candidate will be a part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs. • The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the validation of financial models and ensuring the integrity of reports and analyses, the verification and validation of models, charts, numerical data, and documentation. • This role requires a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a background in financial data analysis. • The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing data quality and driving process improvements that contribute to the overall stability of financial markets.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, model validation, or a related analytical role. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, preferably within a federal government or financial organization. • Experience with financial modeling, economic analysis, and market monitoring. • Strong knowledge of data governance, security controls, and compliance frameworks. • Ability to interpret and validate complex financial and economic datasets. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills to present findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong understanding of financial data standards and experience handling market-sensitive data. • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, SAS, R, and Stata. • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. • Experience presenting data insights visually to diverse audiences.
