📋 Description
• Genesys is seeking a self-motivated Sr. Director of Technical Revenue Accounting to manage the coordination of our technical analysis and development of processes to ensure compliance with ASC606. • Engage with the business to provide revenue recognition compliant solutions including oversight of large contract review, non-standard sales deals, evaluation and development of new product contract structures and supporting the development of reporting solutions for our internal stakeholders. • This role requires both technical accounting and strong interpersonal skills to partner closely with Revenue Operations, IT, FP&A, Legal, External Reporting, Sales and other teams across the company.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant field • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience with at least 6 years at a Big 4 accounting firm is a must + SaaS/tech industry experience • CPA is a must • Subject matter expert in ASC 606 • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong multi-tasking skills and flexibility to switch from one project to the next • Highly collaborative with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects
