📋 Description

• Build simple software components that help solve complex challenges in distributed machine learning training • Contribute to and maintain the Gensyn node, CLI, and related tools by implementing new features (e.g., adding CLI flags, ML execution orchestration, new network protocols), optimizing existing solutions (e.g., using memory-mapped files or more efficient data structures), fixing bugs, and participating in architectural design • Conduct code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality across the team • Measure and optimize existing components to ensure they meet end-user requirements effectively

🎯 Requirements

• Rock solid computer science fundamentals • Demonstrable production experience shipping code • Willingness to upskill on rust-lang, proficient in one system level language • Deep understanding of distributed systems or systems at scale • Operating system fundamentals - preferably Linux/macOS • Highly self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with UNIX APIs and networking protocols • Experience working in high-growth start/scale-up environments • Experience working with metrics/spans/traces • Experience with AI systems in production • Performance optimization tooling and tactics experience • Proficient in rust
