Description

• Ensure compliance with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) requirements and federal contracting regulations. • Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures. • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Perform daily financial tracking of budgets, expenses, and revenue to support ongoing operations. • Manage and maintain accurate accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes. • Provide financial support for project-based contracts, ensuring accurate cost allocation and reporting. • Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and ensure financial performance aligns with contractual requirements. • Generate regular financial reports to support decision-making for ongoing and future projects. • Leverage UNANET or similar software for accounting, timekeeping, and project tracking. • Train team members on financial systems and troubleshoot software issues as needed. • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company goals. • Support leadership with financial analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. • Coordinate internal and external audits, including DCAA audits and financial reviews. • Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the government contracting industry. • Proven experience with DCAA compliance and working knowledge of FAR/DFARS. • Expertise in financial software such as UNANET (or similar). • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. • Strong understanding of project-based accounting and cost management. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively. • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
