📋 Description

• Built is looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Ecosystem Team, where we help improve collaboration in the construction lending industry. • You'll be working with modern technologies to build core features that support multiple workflows, making a real impact on our platform. • Develop and maintain solutions that improve collaboration, reduce turnaround times, and enhance user experience. • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality features while managing technical debt. • Address issue backlogs by identifying pain points, prioritizing resolutions, and implementing fixes. • Provide and receive thoughtful feedback during peer code reviews. • Participate in team discussions, valuing diverse perspectives and fostering collaboration. • Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in computer science (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) or equivalent work experience. • 2+ years of experience building web applications. • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB). • A strong sense of ownership and accountability in your work. • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome challenges. • A collaborative mindset and commitment to working well with others. • Experience with distributed, containerized, and microservice architectures is preferred. • Familiarity with event-driven systems like pub/sub messaging or event sourcing is a plus. • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm is a plus. • Proficiency in cloud-native development, especially with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. • Exposure to financial systems or transactional data workflows is a plus.
