• Are you an experienced senior software developer with a passion for integrations and partnerships solutions which will help transform a customer experience? • Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. • Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work. • Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, as a Senior Solutions Engineer you will leverage your expertise in application marketplaces and APIs to drive the success of our integration initiatives. • Collaborate with the partnerships team and external partner groups to deeply understand their technical operational needs and translate those conversations into actionable engineering plans. • Work closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, marketers and leadership to bring these products to life and accelerate partner growth.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a solutions engineering or similar role. • Proven experience in application marketplace development and management. • Strong knowledge of API technologies, including REST and GraphQL. • Strong communication skills • Collaborative problem solving skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet • Demonstrated expertise in developing highly scalable, robust software solutions across multiple layers of the technology stack • Proven leadership experience championing complex, high-impact projects and serving as core contributor • Exceptional proficiency in software design, architecture, and coding, with a focus on maintainability and performance • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, coupled with the ability to significantly amplify the team’s productivity and effectiveness through mentorship/coaching • Strong self-motivation and resourcefulness, with the capacity to independently identify and leverage necessary resources for project delivery and problem-solving • Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments • Passionate commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, with a track record of staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
