Description

• Design and Development: Architect and build scalable in-application reporting features using Power BI, integrating them seamlessly into our .NET 8 and C# based applications. • Reporting Solutions: Develop and implement interactive and user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and support business decision-making. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices for Power BI integration and reporting development. • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. • Optimization: Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring efficient data retrieval and visualization. • Integration: Ensure smooth integration of Power BI with various data sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and other relevant data systems. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to reporting and data visualization, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for reporting solutions, including design specifications, user guides, implementation standards, and technical notes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Power BI, .NET, and C#. • Expertise in Power BI report development, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization. • Experience in embedding Power BI in customer-facing applications • Proficiency in .NET 8 and C# for application development. • Experience with integrating Power BI with various data sources, such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and other data platforms. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex reporting and data issues. • Proven experience in leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
