📋 Description
• The Lead Field Services Project Manager– Instrumentation & Controls will support full project ownership from ITO to OTR including the safe execution of complex projects and activities involving BWR 2-6 reactor Control Rod Drive, Hydraulic Control Unit, and Nuclear Instrumentation maintenance / troubleshooting. • This role will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, staffing, and safe execution of Outage Service’s projects at global Customer sites. • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on Nuclear Instrumentation Maintenance and system operation. • Exemplify our GE Beliefs and demonstrate integrity, nuclear safety, and quality culture. • Drive standard GEH (GE Hitachi) processes across projects and ensure procedural compliance.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with BWR Nuclear Instrumentation (i.e. System Engineer, Design Engineer, Field Engineer). • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time to support projects/outages at domestic and international customer sites. • Ability and willingness to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain and maintain unescorted access and US and International Nuclear Plant Sites. • Ability and willingness to work in radiation controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areas. • Ability and willingness to work 12 hours a day, 7 days per week when supporting a field project.
