β€’ The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be part of our Dynamic Sales Solution Service and will provide strategic, outbound and proactive sales for 6 multi-branded hotels, located across Canada and/or the USA. β€’ This position is home-based and reports to a Director of Sales. β€’ Provide strategic, outbound and proactive sales for a portfolio of 6-10 multi-branded hotels while also creating a sales-focused culture with the General Managers and Front Desk staff by sharing best practices and peer to peer coaching. β€’ Accountable for driving ROI for hotel partners while achieving revenue milestones on a shortened sales cycle of 6 months. β€’ Activate new accounts in the local market and increase market share from existing accounts through intentional and strategic prospecting. β€’ Deliver bi-weekly sales strategy presentations over MS Teams with each of your designated hotels to report progress. β€’ Develop and nurture a sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce CRM to manage accounts and shorten the sales cycle. β€’ Create remarkable client experiences , manage client expectations, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction by acting as a seamless extension of the hotel and representing your clients with professionalism and integrity.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Hotel Industry Sales Experience: 3 or more consecutive years of hotel guestroom sales experience in business transient, crew, and government segments within a select service hotel. β€’ 2 years of experience in a Dual or Area hotel sales role is preferred. β€’ Strong understanding of hotel systems, RFP process, and brand tools. β€’ Understands how to communicate and negotiate effectively so that prospecting efforts are converted into actualized revenue. β€’ Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. β€’ Ability to establish and maintain relationships with hotel clients and team members. β€’ General hotel operations knowledge. β€’ Technical Proficiency: Proven experience using a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline and be held accountable for daily activities and follow-ups to track progress within your sales cycle. β€’ Strong ability to use all Microsoft Office applications (ie. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) to effectively manage your portfolio of hotels by creating and analyzing reports, delivering presentations, and presenting progress updates. β€’ Ability to work remotely from your home-office at a computer for extended periods of time. β€’ Other Skills: Must be fluent in French to interact with French-speaking clients. β€’ Preferred to have resume sent over in English. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to create and deliver general correspondence, proposals, and reports. β€’ Strong organization, time management, and adaptability skills are essential. β€’ A collaborative team player who is goal-oriented, eager to contribute and learn from others, while seeking continuous improvement.
