Description

• As a Backend Engineer at GitLab, you will shape how users manage GitLab workspaces • Impact open-source community and enterprise customers by enhancing GitLab.com • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and front-end engineers • Build solutions to import data from competitor tools and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Significant professional experience with Ruby on Rails, Redis, and Sidekiq • Professional experience with Rest API, GraphQL, and Postgres SQL • Experience with Data Migration, Grafana, and Kibana preferred • Proficiency in English • Demonstrated capacity to communicate about complex problems • Experience with performance and optimization problems • Comfort working in an agile, iterative software development process • Experience owning a project from concept to production • Self-motivated and self-managing • Demonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organization • Share GitLab's values • Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization
