📋 Description

• Glo’s Full Stack Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining Glo web applications • Write code for existing and new web application features according to business needs and priorities • Write tests, review code, deploy projects, and help troubleshoot production issues • Actively contribute to improve processes • Stay up-to-date on the latest relevant technology tools and trends

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing, coding, testing and debugging web applications in production • 4+ years of experience in a full stack environment, including front end technologies (we use express/Node.js/npm, JS SPA frameworks such as Ember.js and React, CSS precompilers) • Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or other relevant degree, or equivalent experience) • Experience with consuming RESTful APIs, and comfortable writing API endpoints • Experience with relational database querying • Self-starter, exceptional organizational skills, clear communicator, motivated to start healthy discussion and gain consensus on architecture/design decisions • Comfortable using Docker and Kubernetes • Comfortable with the AWS toolset • Experience with payment processor APIs (ex. Stripe, Apple In-App Payments) • Able to clearly communicate technology and business rules to non-tech colleagues
