Description
• The Program Director provides strategic leadership and managerial oversight for the department. • The director collaborates with GEM leadership to develop the department's strategy. • The Program Director supports team members in their career development. • The role includes managing reports and publications, partnerships, and technology strategy.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in energy and environmental research. • 2+ years of coordinating/managing/leading people, projects, or teams. • Demonstrated analytical experience in the energy sphere, including experience summarizing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data and managing large data sets. • Familiarity with international environmental campaigns. • Knowledge of the environmental and social impacts of energy and materials production and the global political economy of energy/materials generation and procurement. • Track record of working to advance social and environmental justice. • Fluency in English.
