📋 Description
• Provide medical strategic input and perform functional activities for medical affairs initiatives • Build and maintain relationships with key US Investigators and Thought Leaders • Execute the US Medical Affairs strategy and programs • Participate in the development of the US Medical Affairs strategy • Support enrollment and execution of Galapagos clinical trials • Represent US Medical Affairs as cell therapy expert • Review congress abstracts, posters, and educational materials • Ensure effective dissemination of data generated through publication and congress strategy plans • Monitor scientific communications and data gaps • Collaborate with cross-functional partners for communication materials
🎯 Requirements
• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD or equivalent) in a health-related field • 7-10+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related roles in biotechnology • Strong focus on Cell Therapy, Oncology, or Heme-Onc • Experience in conducting clinical trials in oncology (CAR-T preferred) • Proficiency in clinical data review and interpretation • In-depth knowledge of the US healthcare system • Excellent communication, soft skills, and interpersonal skills • Successful track record of building and managing collaborations • Ability to navigate in a high-growth dynamic biotech environment • Business travel required to approximately 30% of time
