📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure and platform services with a collaborative approach with Software Engineers. • Work on scaling, automation, reliability and observability of services. • Troubleshoot production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack. • Identify security gaps proactively and design & implement effective preventative controls. • Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of building large scale, cloud based complex distributed systems; identifying shortcomings and optimization opportunities; and making data driven cost performance tradeoffs to influence design decisions. • Empathy, strong communication skills and a deep respect for the power of collaboration. • The ability to drive clear next steps when encountering ambiguous spaces without clear lines of ownership. • Experience in system administration and writing infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) in a high-stakes production environment. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives. • Experience handling critical incidents for production systems. • Software engineering experience. • Linux system administration knowledge. • Understanding of topics such as platform hardening, malware detection, and endpoint management through configuration as code. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for different audiences (leadership, users, stakeholders etc.). • Uphold high standards for engineering and product quality and mentor other team members to do the same. • Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production.
